Sr. Manager, Channel Strategy and Development, Distributor, 4S, New Models & Capabilities
What You'll Do
This role defines and drives strategy for distributor and alternative channels, including 4S and new business models, with accountability for expanding reach and unlocking new growth. He/she will also lead through new capabilities that will unlock the channel development work that will be on CVP and concept sell creation and building capability for this new skill.
The Distributor contributes 5.2M annual volume sales, $298M annual revenue, and $18 margin/ tire, ~$94M margin. The 4S channel contributes 2.2M annual volume sales, $127M annual revenue and $25 margin/ tire ~$55M. Combined channels will work with a multi market across AP (China, Japan, India, Thailand, South Korea, ANZ, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore)
Channel Strategy & Development
- You will define distributor and 4S channel strategies aligned with regional goals.
- You will develop new route-to-market models and partnerships.
- You will define right number of distributor partners needed to unlock growth in AP
- You will define the right distributor profitability model that will enable a win-win solution for both Goodyear and the distributor and drive actionable long-term partnership for the business.
Business Planning & Growth Execution
- You will translate strategy into actionable plans, KPIs, and growth initiatives.
- You will drive business development initiatives including expansion and new channel creation.
- You will define 4S growth partners and how-to-win strategies
Channel Performance Management
- You will monitor distributor performance and ensure alignment with targets.
- You will identify optimization opportunities and implement improvements.
Customer & Product Strategy Integration
- You will work with Marketing team to enable the right differentiated content strategy.
- You will work with Product team to define right product assortment between hero and shared SKUs.
Insights & Analytics Integration
- You will partner with analytics teams to leverage performance data and shopper insights to continuously refine channel strategies
- You will leverage digital analytics to continuously optimize performance and customer engagement.
What We're Looking for:
- You with deep understanding of distributor models, indirect channels, and 4S ecosystems, including economics and partner structures
- You with strong capability in route-to-market (RTM) strategy development and execution across diverse markets
- You with ability to design and scale new business models and partnerships to expand distribution and reach
- You with strong commercial acumen to manage channel P&L, margins, and partner profitability
- You with experience in partner management, negotiation, and performance governance
- You with 10–15 years in Channel Development, Distributor Management, or Sales roles.
- You with proven experience managing distributor networks or alternative RTM channels at regional or multi-market level and also 4S is preferred.
- You with track record of driving distribution expansion and channel growth
- You with experience in building or transforming indirect channel models or partnerships
- You with Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
