Job Description
The Sr. Manager Accounting manages either multiple functional areas or multiple client teams within the FAO business unit. The Sr. Manager is typically responsible for client relationships at the CXO level and ensures client expectations are established and met as agreed. Incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of their departments or assigned clients. This individual may have one or more Accounting Managers reporting to them, based upon the size of the clients to which they are working with.
Manage one or multiple functional areas or client teams performing the back-office accounting functions for clients in diverse industries
Facilitate the communication flow between all levels of the client’s organization and the appropriate personnel
Analyze the transaction processes to recognize and establish the best practices and implement those practices across client engagements
Timely resolution of issues within the parameters established
Analysis of the financial information at a high level to ensure that the deliverables are accurate and complete
Instrumental in the transition and implementation of accounting functions to Concentrix in the outsourced solution including the re-design of the transaction flows, set-up of the accounting software, etc
Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing performance of direct reports in area of specialty; and mentoring, coordinating, planning, and providing direction for work group(s) in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable legal
