Responsible for the on-site logistical operations and freight movement for the Business Events Solutions AT&L organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Support logistical processes. Obtains competitive quotes, communicates freight movement to onsite management, coordinates pickups and deliveries, follows up for delivery, and resolves over/short/damages with carriers.
Years of Experience
4 – 6 years
Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience required.
2. Minimum of five years of logistics experience or trade show operations experience required.
3. Strong motivational skills with the ability to deal sensitively and effectively with others.
4. Strong people and process management skills.
5. Proven track record and understanding of the events and/or hospitality industry.
6. Ability to develop successful and productive customer and/or vendor relationships.
7. Strong communication skills including sales, negotiation, presentation and writing skills.
8. Proficient in MS office and other proprietary software. Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions.
