We are looking for a Sr. Email Marketing Specialist who will focus on our comprehensive transactional emails. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality emails, creating excellent customer experiences, and using data-driven insights to drive continual improvement. As a member of the Lifecycle Email Marketing team, you will work closely with the marketing, product, and engineering teams at Lucid. Teamwork, communication, relationship building, and planning & organization are key skills. Responsibilities:
- Transactional emails: Own and enhance Lucid’s transactional emails to drive customer success. This includes developing emails in HTML/CSS, managing translations, and implementing new emails.
- Deliverability: Ensure emails are reliably being sent and delivered to customers to facilitate their work within the Lucid product suite.
- Customer expertise: Become an expert in our customers; their motivations, goals, and needs-especially related to transactional emails.
- Partnership: Use strong interpersonal skills, facilitating effective customer relationships and cross-functional teamwork by working closely with Engineering, Marketing, UX, and other Product teams.
- AB testing and data analysis: Run AB / multivariate tests to measure and understand usage patterns and the effectiveness of specific emails. Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to find opportunities for optimization.
- Project planning: Effectively plan and prioritize work across multiple projects, and communicate priority to relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree related to business or marketing
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, particularly transactional or lifecycle emails
- Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement
- Experience working closely with a variety of teams including product, engineering, and QA
- Strong technical skills including experience developing emails and solving complex problems
- Strong analytical skills including analyzing data and assessing AB test metrics
- Proven ability to take feedback and learn fast
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the Software as a Service (SaaS) space
- Experience building emails in HTML/CSS
- Experience with rapid prototyping and learning techniques, including AB/multivariate testing
- Experience with transactional emails and/or utilizing SendGrid
- Strong analytical skills applicable to determining marketing effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts
