  • Exposure to AI tools/usage in day-to-day work
  • Demonstrates continuous learning and adoption of new technologies

2. DataStage Administration & Security

  • User Roles & Authorization: Expertise in configuring DataStage user roles, permissions, and group policies using the WebSphere/Information Server Administration Console.
  • Project Administration: Ability to create, manage, and configure DataStage projects, and handle DataStage server security.

3. Scripting, Automation & Programming

  • UNIX / Linux  and python Shell Scripting: High proficiency in Bash and python scripting for automation and performing server maintenance.
  • Java Knowledge: Familiarity with Java for building custom user exit routine.

4. Advanced DataStage Knowledge

  • ETL Pipeline Design: Extensive experience designing parallel jobs using complex stages (Transformer, Aggregator, Join, Lookup, etc.).
  • Performance Tuning: Solid track record in performance tuning bottlenecks, handling large volume data sets, and partitioning strategies within parallel jobs.
  • Job Orchestration: Expertise in designing parameter-driven, restartable, and auditable ETL workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure tools like Control-M, GitHub, Dynatrace, firewall, and load balancing
