What You'll Bring:
- Over 8 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, and platform engineering, with a proven track record of leading high-performing technical teams.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure, with a strong focus on scalable, secure, and resilient architectures.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, with hands-on experience in GCP resource provisioning.
- Extensive experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, enabling efficient deployment and scalability.
- Skilled in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Harness, GitLab CI, and Jenkins, with a strong understanding of modern DevSecOps practices.
- Solid grasp of monitoring and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk and the ELK stack, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Experienced in incident management, including on-call rotations, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Automate software deployment, configuration, and operational processes using Ansible or equivalent tool.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across environments.
- Adept at designing and implementing DevSecOps pipelines with integrated security controls across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across engineering, security, and operations teams.
Impact You'll Make:
- Define and drive the DevOps strategy across the organization, establishing scalable standards, best practices, and governance models.
- Lead automation initiatives for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and system monitoring to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to streamline deployment processes, improve system uptime, and ensure operational excellence.
- Oversee incident response processes, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews, to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to embed security controls and maintain regulatory standards throughout the SDLC.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, with a focus on proactive resource management.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team effectiveness, system reliability, and operational health.
- Promote a culture of learning and growth through mentorship, technical training, and cross-team knowledge sharing.
- Having worked in teams using Agile methodologies, strong understanding of DevOps culture, Microservices Architecture, Kubernetes Clusters, Containers, CICD practices.
- Good understanding of the software development agile practices.
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks would be an added advantage.
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks is desirable. Additionally, professional certifications such as Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional are preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.
