As a Knowledge Management & Learning Partner, you will not only build and design centralized training and learning assets; you will own the information architecture for critical business functions, ensuring the right learning experience is delivered at the right time.
Sunrun is transforming how we learn. We are pivoting from a traditional, decentralized training model to a centralized "Knowledge Management" strategy. Our team is lean and focused. We are looking for learning partners who are ready to own core knowledge and content to enable clarity and alignment. This role enhances access to information and centralized resources and empowers training groups, leaders, and employees alike.
Your goal is to eliminate "content chaos" and build a Single Source of Truth that drives speed, accuracy, and safety for our field teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Knowledge Management: Own the knowledge and associated resources for the assigned centralized core Sunrun functions, which involves designing, managing, and refining core learning assets.
Content Creation & Curation: Build centralized learning resources, including knowledge articles, slide decks, and learning modules to maintain a company-wide "Single Source of Truth." Ensure resources are clear, accurate, and standardized.
Stakeholder Partnership:
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
3–5+ years of experience in Knowledge Management, Instructional Design, or Operations Enablement.
Content Lifecycle Management: Proven track record of creating, auditing, and maintaining a "Single Source of Truth" to eliminate content sprawl.
Stakeholder Partnership: Experience consulting directly with business leaders to translate goals/problems into actionable learning strategies. Act as a thought partner to business leaders. You will consult on problems and goals first, then design the solution, rather than simply executing tactical requests.
Technical Proficiency
Preferred Organizational Tools: Skilled in using mapping tools such as Lucidchart and Asana to organize complex data.
Preferred Content Development Tools: Experience using knowledge management and instructional design tools, such as Articulate (examples) preferred.
Preferred CRM Familiarity: Experience working with Salesforce preferred.
Strategic & Soft Skills
Simplification: Ability to take "technical jargon" and turn it into clear, punchy, and easy-to-follow information or instruction.
Change Management: Understands how to thrive in a fast-paced environment and can execute on and partner with the business to ensure information clarity through change.
Self-Direction: Proven ability to thrive in a "lean team" environment, prioritizing high-impact work without needing constant oversight.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly, ask thoughtful questions, follow up, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
