As a Senior Customer Support Software Engineer, you’ll be at the frontline of technical excellence. You will provide Level 3 support to our clients, leveraging your strong background in software development, networking, and customer-facing technical support. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve issues, drive improvements, and ensure client success.

The Role

This senior-level role requires a deep understanding of Java/J2EE, Spring frameworks, SQL, and distributed architectures. You’ll troubleshoot critical client issues, maintain high-quality code, and serve as a trusted partner to our customers. By combining problem-solving skills with strong communication, you’ll ensure smooth operations and long-term client satisfaction.

Note: This position may require an 8–10 hour weekend shift (Saturday & Sunday), with 2–3 weekdays off depending on the shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 3 technical support for Fortna clients.

  • Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot issues, and implement permanent fixes.

  • Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and development teams to resolve complex problems.

  • Maintain high-quality software code and documentation.

  • Deliver remote support and troubleshooting for client systems.

  • Prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.

  • Actively contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 5–6 years of direct software customer support and development experience.

  • 4+ years in Core Java/J2EE, with strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Data JPA.

  • Strong SQL skills; experience with Oracle or other major databases.

  • Experience with Web Services, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and unit testing frameworks.

  • Understanding of distributed architectures and design patterns.

  • Experience in time-sensitive, high-transaction environments.

  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Team player with proven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience with Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) / Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) highly desirable.
