Define, develop, test, analyze and maintain new software applications and reporting. Maintain and update existing applications and reports in support of business goals in relation to Siebel and Oracle development, implementation and configuration. Analyze existing programs and/or formulate logic for new systems, prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written, maintain project life cycle standards. Work on complex issues where analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Use best practice and knowledge of business issues and strategic direction to solve complex problems. Write complex program specifications and coding from program specifications. Perform Siebel development, application, components, installation, implementation and configuration using Siebel tools. Utilize workflows, scripting, views, applets, joins links and MVG. Prepare Siebel Call Center or Sales and Service applications. Use Siebel integration tools such as Web Services, EIM and EAI. Develop required SQL queries, stored procedures and functions to check results.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any field), Math, or closely related field, plus 5 years of experience in position offered or related occupation.
Must have 5 years of experience in:
- Siebel development, application, components, installation, implementation and configuration using Siebel tools;
- workflows, scripting, views, applets, joins links and MVG;
- Siebel Call Center or Sales and Service applications;
- Siebel integration tools such as Web Services, EIM and EAI; and
- developing required SQL queries, stored procedures and functions to check results.
Must have 2 years of experience in:
- Oracle Siebel Open UI development and tools including JavaScript, HTML, JQuery and CSS;
- Siebel Order Management, quotes, assets and product configuration;
- Siebel application administration;
- Siebel upgrade process and patches; and
- Oracle upgrade path.
May work from home 4 days/week within commuting distance of office in Melville, NY. Must work from office 1 day/week in Melville, NY.
