Meet the team:

The  Sr IT Project Manager will be the interface between IT and Dexcom corporate and business stakeholders to set the technology strategy for assigned projects.  This individual will be a 2-way translator between the project stakeholders and the IT department, helping to define & project manage multiple projects.  This cross-functional position will sit within IT, spending approximately 50% of their time with the business.

Where you come in:

  • You will lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices

  • You will work with the product owners and development teams to achieve customer satisfaction

  • You will provide visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress

  • You will facilitate story / epic level backlog refinement and prioritization, and provide monitoring and status tracking support for cross-team initiatives

  • You will lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization

  • You will remove impediments and coach the scrum teams on removing impediments

  • You will help the scrum teams achieve higher levels of scrum maturity

  • You will resolve conflicts and issues that occur

  • Your experience managing work and dependencies across multiple departments

  • Your xperience with successful Agile techniques

  • Your strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills

  • Your ability to adapt to a changing environment

  • Your excellent communication skills, facilitation skills, ability to collaborate, plan, execute and follow up on meetings at the team level

  • Your self-motivation and the ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction

  • Your good level of spoken and written English

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university 

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 1.5 year and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.

  • Conflict resolution: Facilitate discussion and alternatives or different approaches, especially with differing personalities
