Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Sr. IT Operations Admin will report to the IT Operations Manager in the Technology Department. This role will provide end user technical support on applications built in house on Java and .Net platforms. The Sr. IT Operations Admin will manage the platform for a cohesive, streamlined and quality solution by resolving platform issues, training end users, and assisting with configuration, reporting and dashboards as needed. With a focus on customer service, the Sr. IT Operations Admin incorporates best practices to provide timely resolution of issues to end users, oversight on platform releases, license utilization and manages the day-to-day operations of the enterprise applications.• Troubleshoot and solve application and data related issues.• Process trouble tickets in a fast-paced environment.• Prioritize work to include escalated and production issues.• Document and communicate all known support issues, procedures, and processes providing others with the understanding in order to ensure proper support and coverage.• Provide end user training as needed.• Design reports and dashboards for business management and leaders.• Provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards• Evaluate, analyze, and suggest solutions for process improvements and efficiencies.• Provide oversight of production systems and follow-up on production issues• Provide weekly status reports to management.• Other duties as assigned.

Years of Experience: • 3-5 years of experience . Degree: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field . Certification: N/A . Skills & Abilities: • Understanding of object-oriented databases and the ability to write SQL queries.• Experience with SQL - Relational Database Understanding, Queries for MS SQL Server• Hands on experience with .Net, Java, IIS, HTTP, HTML, AJAX, XML, CSS, Angular, and JavaScript• Excellent analysis and problem-solving abilities.• Demonstrates effective communication skills with a focus on customer first.• Demonstrates advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint is a minimum requirement• Experience with SSO including SAML 2.0• Experience with log and monitoring tools including Splunk and DataDog• Professional track record of superb interpersonal and communication skills• Experience in full life cycle development of information technology solutions.• Experience in the integration of complex financial, customer, client service, and back-office data and processes.• Experience interfacing and integrating with various third-party systems.• Experience in Financial Services Infrastructure, Business Processes and Applications• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Office, Visio, SharePoint, TFS• Quality focus and attention to detail • Prioritize, multi-task and complete tasks within timelines.• Professional track record of superb interpersonal and communication skills• Must possess strong skills in personal diplomacy and client service while consistently demonstrating a high level of motivation, commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and trustworthiness.• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred. • Experience in a financial services industry preferred. • Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM practices and framework preferred.
