A day in the life.
We’re seeking a strategic communicator to join MMA’s IT Strategy & Operations team. This role will play a critical part in shaping how IT employees experience and engage with IT leadership and our stakeholders, using storytelling and data to drive awareness and impact to our broader strategy. The ideal candidate brings creativity and a passion for exploring new and innovative ways to communicate and engage employees.
The IT Strategy & Operations team acts as the central hub for aligning MMA IT to common organizational and business goals, ensuring technology investments deliver value, and fostering innovation.
Translate IT strategy and roadmaps into executive briefings, presentations, dashboards, and talking points that summarize outcomes, risks, and decisions.
Own and manage the strategy and content for MMA IT communications sites (SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, etc) and related collaboration tools. Ensuring they are best utilized across the IT organization to enhance communication, knowledge sharing, colleague engagement and operational efficiency.
Facilitate sessions with IT leadership and key stakeholders to define IT strategies, goals, and priorities; track progress towards these goals and communicate updates effectively.
Maintain IT strategy progress reporting cadence (status, milestones, KPIs, dependencies, risks); build and refine dashboards and visual summaries.
Create targeted stakeholder communications and engagement plans to support major initiatives and organizational change (newsletters, FAQs, readiness messaging).
Develop templates, playbooks, and standards to increase consistency and efficiency across IT communications and reporting.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
5–7 years of relevant experience in IT strategy, program management, internal/corporate communications, or management consulting.
Bachelor’s degree
Proven ability to produce executive-level presentations and written briefs that synthesize complex technical material.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
Expert experience with building PowerPoint presentations.
Experience with SharePoint or intranet/content-management platforms.
Proficiency with tracking KPIs and progress towards goals.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
Experience in insurance brokerage, financial services, or professional services.
Familiarity with agile delivery methods, IT governance and portfolio management frameworks
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization/reporting tools

The applicable base salary range for this role is $110,700 to $193,700.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
