ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
Program & Solution Delivery
- Support the end-to-end delivery of procurement capabilities as part of the SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
- Collaborate with business process owners and functional leads to define solution requirements, process designs, and functional specifications.
- Analyze current-state processes and systems, identify gaps, and recommend future-state solutions for procurement processes within SAP S/4HANA.
- Work with implementation partners and technical teams to ensure solution design aligns with business needs, enterprise architecture, and program standards.
- Participate in fit-to-standard workshops, design reviews, backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, and release planning activities.
Requirements & Process Analysis
- Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements for procurement-related capabilities.
- Create and maintain business process flows, functional design documents, test scenarios, and support documentation.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align on process decisions, dependencies, data needs, and business impacts.
Testing
- Define and execute test strategy support for procurement functionality, including SIT, UAT, regression, and defect resolution.
- Coordinate with business users and testing teams to ensure complete test coverage for procurement scenarios and integrations.
- Review test results, triage issues, track defects, and ensure timely resolution with functional and technical teams.
Data, Integrations & Reporting
- Partner with master data, integration, and reporting teams to ensure procurement data objects and interfaces are accurately defined and delivered.
- Support data cleansing, data mapping, and data validation activities relevant to procurement processes.
- Work closely with teams supporting integrations to vendor systems, procurement platforms, invoice management tools, and analytics/reporting solutions.
Change Management & Adoption
- Support organizational readiness, training, business communications, and hypercare planning for procurement process changes.
- Act as a liaison between business users and IT to ensure adoption considerations are incorporated into design and deployment.
- Provide post-go-live support during cutover, hypercare, and stabilization phases.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Track procurement scope decisions, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies within the S/4 program governance model.
- Provide regular status updates to IT and business leadership on deliverables, risks, and milestone progress.
- Ensure adherence to project methodology, documentation standards, and change control processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- 6-8+ years of experience in IT business analysis, functional analysis, or systems delivery roles.
- 3-4+ years of experience supporting procurement processes within ERP platforms, preferably SAP.
- Experience working on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of source-to-pay / procure-to-pay business processes.
- Proven ability to gather requirements, document functional specifications, and support solution delivery in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting testing, defect management, and business user engagement.
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams, multiple geographies, and matrixed organizations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
