The Enterprise IT HSEPS team is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA EHS Consultant to support end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects. The consultant will work under the guidance of an EHS Lead or Solution Architect and contribute to configuration, testing, data migration support, and post–go-live stabilization of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) processes.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Lead business sessions to define high level business goals/vision, extract business requirements, define performance indicators and provide solutions for the SAP EHS area
- Ability to comprehend the technical decisions made for the given business problem to multiple stakeholders such as IT, Leadership, Business, Architects, SMEs and implementation team
- SAP S/4HANA EHS configuration & support including Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) and Dangerous Goods Management
- Support ECC to S/4HANA conversions or greenfield implementations, apply S/4HANA EHS best practices and simplifications.
- Support integration of EHS with logistics, manufacturing, and compliance processes, work closely with MM, SD, PP, QM, WM/EWM, GTS, and FI/CO teams to ensure end-to-end integration.
- Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, CPI, document management) on RICEFW objects and interfaces
- Prepare and execute unit testing and SIT test cases for EHS scenarios, support UAT, defect resolution, and business user clarification.
- Assist with data migration validation for EHS master data (substances, specifications, phrases)
- Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents and test scripts and user guides
- Follow SAP Activate methodology and project documentation standards
Qualifications/Experience
- Strong understanding of SAP EHS and regulatory compliance processes
- Excellent knowledge of the SAP EHS integration with logistics and supply chain
- 10+ years of IT experience in international corporations, in industries similar to Honeywell, in the area of Health & Safety, Product Safety & Stewardship and Environmental Performance focusing on all existing, new and emerging regulations (GHS, REACH, OSHA, etc.) across key geographies
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA EHS configuration
- Exposure to SAP Product Compliance or Dangerous Goods is a plus
- Experience conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners & users, and performing current state system analysis
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager, Basis and Security
- Experience with non-ERP HSEPS solutions like 3E Optimized, 3E ERC+
- Prior consulting experience with exposure to clients/customers in US and Europe is an advantage
- Self-starter, independent thinker and worker, with a positive and can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a matrix environment
- Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization, from Team Members to Executives
