Oversees the development and implementation of iSeries applications while serving as a resource to others to resolve complex IT issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Plans, develops, codes, tests, modifies, debugs, and implements applications and systems throughout the Company.
- Prepares detailed specifications and performs programming, testing, conversion, and implementation planning.
- Codes in various languages and technical platforms based on program specifications.
- Analyzes existing programs and recommends changes in development, maintenance, or system standards.
- Designs complex functionality within applications and provides multifaceted solutions.
- Documents requirements in order to translate information into technical specifications.
- Develops testing plans to ensure effective functionality.
- Provides guidance to team members on complicated assignments and mentors on new technologies.
- Administers training for users during system implementation as needed.
- Receives and carries out instructions.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
