About This Role
We’re seeking an experienced and results-driven Instructional Designer to join our fast-paced SaaS company for a 13-week period. This role is critical to scaling our customer education initiatives and improving the effectiveness of our training and content delivery for both customers and our internal teams. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with customer success, onboarding, technical support, product, and marketing teams to develop impactful learning content that drives product adoption and, ultimately, help our customers quickly and repeatedly realize the value of our products.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, build and refresh LMS content in LearnUpon, including structured course paths and assessments, with a focus on early lifecycle customer engagement
- Design and deliver customer-facing instructional content, particularly for onboarding and product training
- Design and develop virtual customer trainings on best practices and standard product training (e.g., admin, users)
- Develop and template customer-facing slide decks using Matik software
- Collaborate on instructional content using tools such as Articulate 360 (preferred), Adobe Captivate, Easy Generator, and other learning tools – e.g., Powtoon
- Apply adult learning principles and best practices to all deliverables
- Assist in the design of our customer newsletter layout for improved education delivery
- Consult on governance and delivery best practices across our knowledge ecosystem
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in building and managing content in an LMS (LearnUpon strongly preferred)
- Experience designing and delivering instructional content in a technology or SaaS environment
- Familiarity with authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent written and visual communication skills
- Preferred (not required): Background in SaaS product education and/or digital onboarding programs
