At YETI, the Senior Independent Sales Account Manager is a highly motivated and self-driven sales professional with exceptional communication skills and business acumen. This role requires the ability to quickly engage with customers and build lasting relationships. As a trusted advisor, the Senior Independent Sales Account Manager helps retail clients grow their businesses by offering the full range of YETI products. Responsibilities include communicating the YETI brand story, presenting products, and fostering strong trade channel relationships, all while achieving sales objectives and targets within a defined territory

Responsibilities:  

  • Responsible for the following territory: Northeastern U.S. including VT, NH, ME, MA, CT, RI, NY, PA, NJ   

  • Establish strong relationships with customers across multiple trade channels  

  • Build an organized and disciplined territory coverage plan based on our strategic tiering system  

  • Strategically partner with dealers on selling best practices  

  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and direction to sales team members  

  • Submit accurate territory forecasts within defined timeline  

  • Prepare sales reports, customer reports, expense reports as directed  

  • Attend sales meetings, training programs and trade shows as requested  

  • Provide timely communication and preeminent customer service  

  • Manage territory expenses within a budget  

  • Work effectively with customer service, marketing, and operations departments 
     

Qualifications and Attributes:  

  • Greater than 8 years relevant experience in outside sales/account management 

  • Strongly preferred Bachelors or equivalent experience 

  • Outdoor and sporting goods experience preferred  

  • Premium consumer products experience preferred  

  • Proven track record delivering on defined sales objectives  

  • Self-starter, self-motivated with strong time management skills  

  • Competitive, self-confident and growth oriented  

  • Must currently reside in the Greater Boston area 

  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of time on the road to customers

Pay Range:

$85,000.00 - $93,000.00 Annual USD

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
