The Sr. HR Generalist will be responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to the HR Team. You will be involved in day-to-day HR operations of the company, including benefits administration, onboarding, employee relations, offboarding, employee database management, and special HR projects.

- Ability to handle day-to-day Human Resources tasks.
- Conduct employee investigations, guide and recommend disciplinary action and termination process
- First point of contact for all employee relation issues
- Frequent interaction with all levels of management and staff.
- Assist in scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters
- Prepare New Hire and Orientation Packets.
- Work closely with the Recruiters and Payroll Team to ensure smooth handoff of all new hire data from HR to payroll, collect all paperwork and assist with the compliance of new hire process obligations.
- Conduct E-Verify checks for new hires and Annual I9 audits
- Background screening coordination and administration
- Maintain the HRIS system and the personnel records by recording new hires, transfers, promotions, changes in job classifications and other items as necessary
- Create and maintain personnel files (filing)
- Assist with performance evaluations for 30-day, 60-day, 90 day and Transfers.
- Perform with exit interviews when necessary
- Assist employees with questions or issues related to policy interpretation and benefits
- Assist with coordination of events such employee events and various HR tasks or projects as needed.
- Recruit for open positions (as needed)
- Complete employment verifications within 48 hours of receipts
- Process E-Learning Registrations within a 48 hours period
- Process Garnishments accordingly, update garnishment log, and send out appropriate communication to employees
- Provide payroll support by ensuring all timecards have been processed accordingly by established deadlines
- Call and report Workers Compensation claims within 5 days of accident/incident
- Provide benefit support during annual benefit open enrollment
- Audit and reconcile monthly benefit invoices
- Perform any other tasks or functions as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
- Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Degree or certification in Human Resources preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in the Human Resources field, recruiting and providing departmental support, including handling projects independently as assigned.
- Experience with employee relations
- Ability to work with and maintain confidentiality of HR information
- Prior experience working in HRIS Systems.
- Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Software skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Internet
- A self-motivated professional individual, who demonstrates initiative, flexibility, teamwork and a sense of urgency
