Situated on the southern edge of the Lehigh Valley and easily accessible from northern Philadelphia suburbs and the surrounding areas, the Quakertown facility is our North American hub for the design and manufacturing of leading dental imaging devices and software. The facility has a growing, energetic, and diverse mix of professionals spanning engineering, operations, regulatory and quality backgrounds that work collaboratively in the fast-paced medical device field. Position Summary:

The Sr. Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter is responsible for supporting human resource activities including recruiting, HRIS updates, file management, compensation and benefits inquiries, employee relations and the execution of special programs/events. All tasks should be in alignment with the company’s strategy and be designed to ensure legal compliance with all state and federal employment laws. This role is on-site in Quakertown, PA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment function for internal client groups, including planning, job description guidance, requisition approvals, interviews, employment offers, onboarding, etc.
  • Manage relationship with temporary agencies.
  • Assist with hourly associate’s annual performance review and merit increase process.
  • Manage hourly time and attendance policy adherence for site.
  • Support employee engagement activities and act as primary lead for hourly employee completion of annual survey
  • Lead site community involvement and associate recognition initiatives and programs such as years of service celebration, veteran recognition, company picnic, etc.
  • Help to develop/support programs, policies, procedures, and controls regarding key HR metrics (recruiting, attendance, onboarding, turnover, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with employment-related laws.
  • Conduct training in ADP, Workday, Benefit Open Enrollment, and other topics as needed.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with employment investigations.
  • Cultivate improved DEI and/or other targeted talent pipelines to reach company recruitment goals.
  • Support various ongoing and ad-hoc projects and initiatives (e.g., DEI, training/professional development, talent calibration, succession planning, etc.).
  • Manage hourly employee relations, performance discussions, reasonable accommodations, separations and leave of absence matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR.
  • 2+ years’ experience recruiting hourly production and distribution roles is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Proficient in knowledge of laws, policies, practices governing human resource issues including but not limited to FMLA, disability, ADA, EEO, Workers Compensation, unemployment, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated problem solving and project management experience.
  • Proficient in Workday (or applicable HRIS) and ADP
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Experience in regulated industry

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
