Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Technology Analyst in West Hartford, CT. The Senior HR Technology Analyst serves as a key functional and technical resource responsible for analyzing, configuring, testing, supporting, and optimizing HR systems and related processes. This role partners with HR, IT, Payroll, vendors, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable technology solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, compliance, and the employee experience.

The ideal candidate combines deep HR process knowledge with strong systems analysis, data, and project delivery skills. This individual will independently lead complex enhancements and workstreams, provide subject-matter expertise, troubleshoot escalated issues, evaluate downstream impacts, and recommend practical solutions that support Legrand’s HR technology strategy.

Responsibilities

What Will You Do?

Business Analysis & Solution Design:

  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to analyze needs, document current and future-state processes, and translate requirements into clear functional specifications.
  • Assess system capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend scalable solutions, automation, and process improvements.
  • Evaluate the upstream and downstream impacts of proposed configuration, integration, and process changes.

System Configuration, Testing & Support:

  • Configure and maintain HR technology modules, workflows, business rules, security roles, and related functionality within established governance standards.
  • Develop test strategies and scripts; coordinate and execute unit, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Investigate and resolve complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and serve as an escalation point for HR technology support.

Data, Reporting & Integrations:

  • Maintain data integrity through audits, reconciliations, validation controls, and corrective action plans.
  • Develop and support reports, dashboards, and analyses that enable sound HR and business decisions.
  • Monitor and support interfaces and integrations with payroll, benefits, recruiting, finance, identity, and other systems; troubleshoot data and processing failures with internal teams and vendors.

Project Delivery, Governance & Stakeholder Partnership:

  • Lead complex system enhancements and assigned project workstreams from discovery through deployment, including scope, requirements, risk, testing, communication, training, and post-production support.
  • Communicate status, risks, decisions, and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Maintain process flows, configuration records, functional specifications, test evidence, support procedures, and user guidance.
  • Protect employee data and ensure solutions comply with applicable privacy, security, and records-management requirements.
  • Coach analysts and users, share best practices, and contribute to HR technology standards and continuous improvement. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience supporting HR technology, HRIS, systems analysis, or related HR operations.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with a major enterprise HCM platform such as Oracle HCM or Dayforce; experience across multiple HR domains is preferred.
  • Experience leading complex system enhancements or project workstreams from requirements through deployment and support.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or similar programing languages, including the ability to write and interpret queries for data validation, reporting, and issue troubleshooting.
  • Basic familiarity with AI-enabled technology, including its practical use in analysis, automation, and productivity, with an understanding of responsible use, data privacy, and the need for human oversight.
  • Experience with reporting or query tools and project or work-management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or Microsoft Project is preferred.

  • Project Leadership: Ability to organize complex work, manage priorities and risks, and drive enhancements through completion.
  • Data Privacy & Judgment: Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential employee information and applying privacy, security, and governance standards.
  • AI Literacy & Responsible Use: Ability to use approved AI tools effectively, write clear prompts, evaluate outputs for accuracy and bias, protect confidential data, and apply human judgment and oversight.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ability to challenge assumptions, coach others, and identify scalable ways to improve systems, processes, and the user experience.
