As a Senior Human Resources Manager at Honeywell Technologies Industrial Automation, you will be a trusted strategic partner to leaders across Finance, Information Technology, Services, Engineering, and Legal functions. You will drive the translation of business priorities into cohesive people, talent, and organizational strategies that accelerate profitable growth, enable transformation, and enhance operational excellence for customers who rely on safety, reliability, and uptime. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a scalable operating model, build critical functional and technical capabilities, and influence leadership across a global automation enterprise.
You will report directly to our Senior HR Director for Functions, and you’ll work out of our Houston, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development and execution of integrated people strategies that align with Industrial Automation’s growth, transformation, and customer commitments, strengthening the talent pipeline and building a scalable operating model that supports global business success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement integrated people strategies for Finance, Information Technology, Services, Engineering, and Legal functions in close collaboration with functional leaders and the Senior HR Director for Functions, ensuring alignment with Industrial Automation’s growth ambitions, transformation initiatives, and customer commitments.
- Lead comprehensive talent management processes including talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention for key functional and technical roles, fortifying the talent pipeline essential to advancing automation, digitalization, and operational excellence.
- Drive organizational design, role clarity, strategic workforce planning, location strategy, and functional transformation initiatives that streamline workflows, enhance accountability, and build a scalable, agile operating model.
- Coach and partner with leaders to build high-performing teams, effectively manage performance, employee relations, policy adherence, and change communications with sound judgment, agility, and consistency.
- Leverage workforce analytics and business insights to identify capability gaps, turnover and succession risks, talent pipeline needs, and opportunities to boost productivity, organizational health, and execution excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning, HR Operations, and Employee Relations to deliver an integrated employee experience and timely, high-quality HR solutions aligned with business needs.
YOU MUST HAVES
- 6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including proven business partner expertise supporting professional, technical, or corporate functions within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated success in translating business strategies into actionable talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and employee relations initiatives.
- Strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and sound judgment, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders, navigate complex matrix environments, and manage multiple priorities with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
- Experience supporting enterprise functions such as Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Engineering, and Services.
- Background in global, matrixed, technology-driven, manufacturing, or industrial automation environments undergoing significant transformation.
