 Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and highly experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to lead and elevate our HR operations in the Philippines. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional who can move beyond administrative execution to provide expert guidance on Philippine labor standards, employee relations, and organizational scaling.

The successful candidate will act as the primary HR lead for our Makati office, serving as a subject matter expert on local compliance while partnering with Global HR and Finance leadership to optimize internal operations. We are looking for a "player-coach" who possesses the technical depth to manage statutory requirements and the professional maturity to advise on complex employee matters with a people-first, high-integrity approach.

This is an in-office role based out of our Makati office. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday | 5am - 2pm PHT.


Base Pay Range

The base pay range of this position is ₱70,000 to  ₱100,000 per month.  Additional compensation through the Incentive Bonus Program is available for this position after successfully completing 6-months of employment.

The final offer will consider various factors, such as location, education, and prior experience, to ensure a comprehensive and fair compensation assessment.

Expected Posting Timelines

This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, a maximum of 90 days.


The Day-to-Day

Timekeeping & Attendance (Strategic Oversight)

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the PH timekeeping and attendance function, ensuring all processes adhere to Philippine labor laws and company policies.
  • Establish controls and audit mechanisms to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely approval of timesheets.
  • Analyze attendance patterns, overtime trends, and leave utilization to identify risks, operational gaps, and opportunities for policy enhancements.
  • Oversee the preparation, validation, and reconciliation of timekeeping reports, ensuring data integrity for payroll and compliance purposes.
  • Partner with Finance and leadership to implement improvements to timekeeping workflows and system configurations.

Benefits Administration (Philippines) – Leadership & Optimization

  • Lead the end-to-end administration and continuous improvement of PH statutory and company-provided benefits programs, ensuring competitive offerings and full compliance with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and DOLE regulations.
  • Interpret and apply statutory benefit requirements (e.g., maternity, paternity, solo parent, special leaves), ensuring consistent and legally sound decision-making.
  • Drive strategic management of health and wellness initiatives, including HMO enrollment cycles, renewals, dependent coverage strategy, and vendor relationship management.
  • Provide expert-level support to employees on benefit coverage, claims escalations, and resolution of complex benefit or government loan concerns (SSS, Pag-IBIG).
  • Oversee the Makati Health Clearance Certification process and ensure alignment with internal policies and government expectations.
  • Partner with Finance to lead monthly reconciliations of government contributions, ensuring timely and accurate remittances.
  • Oversee company-initiated benefits such as group life insurance, annual physical exams (APE), employee wellness initiatives, and employee assistance programs, ensuring strong vendor performance and employee experience.

Compliance & Legal Requirements – Subject Matter Expertise

  • Serve as the internal expert on PH labor laws, ensuring all HR practices, contracts, policies, and employee actions are fully compliant with DOLE, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG regulations.
  • Own the preparation and timely submission of all statutory government reports, filings, certifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Lead internal compliance audits and ensure readiness for external or government audits by maintaining complete and accurate HR records.
  • Partner with U.S. HR leadership to support compliance with state-specific U.S. labor requirements (e.g., wage rules, sick leave accruals, state disability insurance), ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Maintain impeccable documentation and employee records, ensuring adherence to statutory retention requirements and internal governance.
  • Continuously monitor changes in Philippine labor legislation and U.S. labor trends; proactively recommend updates to policies, processes, and internal guidance.

Employee Relations & Organizational Culture

  • Advisory Role: Act as a trusted advisor to management on sensitive employee relations issues, grievances, and conflict resolution, utilizing a proactive approach to mitigate legal risk.
  • Onboarding & Lifecycle Management: Design and facilitate a high-touch onboarding experience that integrates new hires into the global culture; oversee the full offboarding process, including strategic exit interviews and final clearance.
  • Culture Advocacy: Drive employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture programs that resonate with a high-performing, decentralized workforce.

Operational Excellence

  • Data Integrity: Own the accuracy of the HRIS and timekeeping systems (US and PH), ensuring overtime, attendance, and leave balances are reconciled with precision for payroll processing.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate or streamline administrative HR tasks, allowing for more focus on value-add HR initiatives.

Administrative & Finance Support

  • Maintain accurate HR and compliance-related files, records, and reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of HR compliance reports, audit requirements, and government submissions.
  • Support finance and HR in ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, updates, and coordination of programs such as annual physical examinations (APE).
  • Coordinate and document employee separations, including exit interviews and clearance requirements.

Other Responsibilities (Makati Office)

  • Support HR and compliance initiatives related to retention, safety, and organizational development.
  • Help organize company events, team-building activities, and compliance-related employee communications.
  • Perform other HR, compliance, and administrative duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a Senior Generalist or HRBP capacity within a multinational or BPO/Shared Services environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Law; HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR, or local equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • Labor Law Mastery: Deep, nuanced understanding of the Philippine Labor Code and recent DOLE department orders.
  • Executive Communication: Ability to communicate complex HR and legal concepts clearly to US-based leadership and local employees alike.
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Proven ability to navigate ambiguous situations and provide solutions that balance business needs with employee advocacy.
  • High-Stakes Integrity: Absolute discretion in handling confidential information and a disciplined work ethic suited for early-morning shifts and global coordination.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in HRIS platforms, timekeeping software, and Microsoft Excel for data reconciliation.
