Required Skills:

The IT Financial Operations team supports WWT’s enterprise applications stack across Oracle Cloud and R12, partnering closely with Finance, Tax, Procurement, Projects, and Operations to deliver dependable, audit-ready financial systems. World Wide Technology is seeking a Senior Oracle Functional Analyst to join our IT Financial Operations support team. The ideal candidate brings deep functional finance experience across Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle R12, with hands-on expertise across the Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Projects, Costing, Fusion Tax, and Expenses areas, and a proven track record of mentoring analysts, owning stakeholder relationships, and resolving complex incidents. Candidates will be evaluated on their overall skill set and aligned to the O2C, P2P, or Projects support track post-hiring.

Job Responsibilities


  • Act as functional Subject Matter Expert across Oracle Cloud and R12 financial modules, owning the most complex incidents, escalations, and design decisions within the assigned track (O2C, P2P, or Projects).
  • Own day-to-day stakeholder communication with Finance, Tax, Procurement, Projects, and Operations leaders, including status updates, design walkthroughs, and post-incident reviews.
  • Mentor junior analysts, review their configurations, test scripts, and documentation, and accelerate their ramp-up on Oracle Cloud and R12.
  • Lead cross-team coordination with technical, integration, and external vendor teams, and partner with Finance, Tax, Procurement, Projects, and IT teams to drive enhancements, projects, and quarterly updates that improve process efficiency, control, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives — automation, ticket reduction, knowledge base build-out, and AI-led productivity opportunities within the support function.
  • Provide functional production support across the Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Projects, Costing, and General Ledger streams on Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle R12.
  • Configure and support Oracle Cloud modules across Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Projects, Costing, Fusion Tax, and Expenses, including R12 equivalents.
  • Analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and configure Oracle Cloud / R12 solutions aligned with WWT’s finance and operations processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests within agreed SLAs, performing root-cause analysis and driving permanent fixes.
  • Write and tune SQL queries against Oracle database tables for data extraction, validation, defect triage, and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Support Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and R12 patching by assessing functional impact, executing regression testing, and coordinating sign-offs; ensure audit and SOC control activities are properly evidenced, including configuration changes and access reviews.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation including BRDs, FDDs, configuration workbooks, test scripts, SOPs, and user training material.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards using OTBI and BI Publisher, support data migration and integration validation using FBDI/ADFDI templates, and work with technical teams on integrations involving OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, Vertex, and Coupa as applicable to the assigned track
