The Sr. FP&A Analyst is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and cost controlling activities for global manufacturing organizations (US, Austria, PRC).

This position reports to the Finance Director, Global Operation and is part of the Global Operations Finance team located in Shanghai and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform monthly cost variance analysis including PPV, work order variance, and labor/absorption efficiency for 3 manufacturing sites
  • Monitor inventory movements and cost trends, and provide insights on inventory MOM outlook and forecast vs. actual
  • Consolidate monthly manufacturing OVH forecast and annual budget for global manufacturing sites, provide overview.
  • Partner with US, Austria, and PRC Finance and Operations teams on product costing, inventory management, and E&O provisions.
  • Support Freight/tariff analysis and provide timely reports on cost changes
  • Analyze
  • Support business case and scenario analysis for growth projects and operational initiatives
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and other tasks assigned

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Over 3 years in finance, with strong exposure to manufacturing finance / FP&A / cost controlling
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong business partnering mindset with ability to collaborate across regions
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Fluent English is required as the working language

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Oracle, HFM or Onestream experience
  • CPA/ACCA is plus

Skills Required

  • Over 3 years in finance with strong exposure to manufacturing finance, FP&A, and cost controlling
