Sr FP&A Analyst

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for Financial Processes and Analysis to ensure accurate P&L reports. It also supports managers of all departments with financial data.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Monthly closing process focused on revenues and expenses control
• Monitoring KPI’s to understand business variances in P&L
• Periodic Planning and Forecasting process, in coordination with other departments
• Monitoring upcoming changes in client’s agreements / business to anticipate P&L impacts
• Focus on constant process’ improvement and automation
• Update and maintenance of local controls
• Local management reports
• International Finance reports
• Support all departments with financial data
• Promote a culture of cooperation and ownership

Qualifications Required

• Great communication skills (candidate will talk to many people in all management levels in Brazil structure and interact with international team).
• Sense of ownership and teamwork.
• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial, Data Analytics or related careers.
• Advanced Excel is mandatory (logical, text and lookup formulas are minimum, along with pivot table manipulation). VBA knowledge is desirable.
• Basic knowledge in Power-Point
• Great analytical skills. Candidate will need to understand trends period over period and be able to track variances with correlation to different metrics.
• Desirable knowledge of data analytics tools (i.e. Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx)
• Proficient English and Portuguese
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance department
• Availability to work in hybrid model
• Availability to work with Brazil’s calendar when Argentinean holidays coincide with critical dates for Brazil’s operation.
• Sense of urgency, ability to negotiate deliverables and manage time
• Desire to understand an ever-evolving business
