We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to join the FP&A team on a 6-month fixed term contract. The Senior Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in a high‑impact transformation project within the FP&A team, focused on updating and optimising the organisation’s Hyperion environment to reflect structural, process, and data changes resulting from the implementation of a new ERP system. This is a hands‑on, analytical, and systems‑focused role suited to someone who thrives in fast‑moving project environments and can bridge finance, technology, and operations
ResponsibilitiesCross‑functional collaboration: partner with Finance, IT, and external consultants to ensure smooth integration and testing
Testing & validation: develop and execute UAT plans, validate data flows, and troubleshoot issues in the Hyperion planning system
Reporting enhancements: update management reporting packs, dashboards, and automated outputs to reflect the new system landscape
FP&A process optimisation: ensure budgeting, forecasting, and reporting workflows remain efficient and accurate during and after the transition.
Documentation & knowledge transfer: Produce clear documentation and support training for FP&A and wider finance users
This individual will also support monthly reporting, the quarterly business review and the annual budget, support the forecast process and provide analytical support for Senior Finance Management & at all levels up to the Executive team.
Working closely with Accounting on the month end and quarter end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, etc.
Completing ad hoc analysis and decision support related to the overall organization
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
A minimum of five years of experience post qualification with strong systems accounting and financial planning and analysis experience
Strong planning and analytical skills, including superior financial modelling, Excel, and financial database systems skills / knowledge (Hyperion Planning, or similar).
Ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables in a structured way
Ability to translate technical system changes into clear business impacts
Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.
Working knowledge of the pharmaceuticals industry is an advantage
