Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Financial Analyst to support our Electronics and Controls business. This role is responsible for delivering detailed financial analysis, annual budget and monthly forecast preparation, performance tracking, collaboration and partnering across functions to understand the business and adaptation/enhancement of financial planning processes as appropriate. The ideal candidate understands the dynamics of a manufacturing environment, key profitability drivers, is driven to discover root cause behind the numbers, and owns job responsibilities. 

 

AS A SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST, YOU WILL: 

  • Prepare and analyze monthly P&L variances actual vs forecast 

  • Partner with operations and other business functions to understand profitability drivers. 

  • Prepare account level, detailed monthly plant forecast on a rolling twelve-month basis and supplemental required reporting. 

  • Analyze trends to identify opportunities for operational improvements. Prepare reports or presentations as needed to support strategic decision making. 

  • Preparation of the financial planning packages including Quarterly and Annual Financial Review. 

  • Engage with technical teams and other resources working on data analytics initiatives to identify process improvement opportunities. Develop financial models to support business needs. 

  • Participate in department and/or cross-functional projects and provide other ad-hoc analysis as needed. 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or FP&A, preferably within an electronics or manufacturing environment. 

  • Strong understanding of profitability drivers such as mix, inflation, cost savings, general administrative expenses. 

  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Plex) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. 

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 

  • MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred. 

  • Experience in vertical financial management reporting. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-mix, global production environment. 

  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organizational structure. 

 

Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements: 

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week, based at either our Kennesaw, GA or St. Louis, MO facility. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
