Job Description

This position will provide support to the Financial Planning & Analysis team in carrying out a variety of finance initiatives and functions, serving as a key finance partner for revenue planning and business performance for Care.com's Out Of Home product line. The role requires a highly organized person who demonstrates a very keen attention to detail, a high level of proficiency with Excel, comfort synthesizing large data sets into concrete insights, an understanding of financial concepts, and strong communication skills.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Develop and maintain sophisticated and highly complex financial models used for forecasting, strategic decision making, and capital allocation
  • Monitor and analyze critical metrics and business trends and provide regular updates to senior management
  • Prepare weekly reporting that highlights the operational results, forecasts, and business plans of the company’s various divisions and subsidiaries.  Present findings to Sr. Leadership as appropriate.
  • Help create and evaluate budgets, business plans, and forecasts for Care.com or any of its business units
  • Work closely with the Finance and Business Unit leaders to meet strict internal and external financial deadlines 
  • Identify and analyze operational problems and recommend effective solutions
  • Lead/assist with adhoc projects as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent quantitative major
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a finance/analytics role in a corporate environment
  • Experience in the tech industry, management consulting, or investment banking is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience building complicated financial models with a focus on efficiency
  • Proven understanding of finance, accounting, economics, and statistics
  • Expert analytical skills and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with the proven ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Experience with SQL is preferred

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on work location, experience, and performance. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. Care.com also provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401(k) employer match, paid holidays, and PTO.
