Position Overview

The Senior Finance Analyst – Strategic Products is an astute problem-solver, who distills complex analytics and business problems into succinct, clear, and actionable insights for the Finance organization at Rectangle Health. We’re seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Senior Finance Analyst to partner directly with our Chief Product & Strategy Officer in driving the financial strategy of a new, fast-growing product line. This is a high-impact role that blends financial modeling, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to support rapid innovation and scale.

Primary Job Duties
  • Build and maintain robust, end-to-end financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making for a high-growth product line.
  • Serve as the primary finance partner to the Chief Product & Strategy Officer, providing insights and recommendations that influence product strategy and investment decisions.
  • Maintain a dynamic, complex revenue model that evolves week-to-week as new insights emerge about product performance, customer behavior, and market opportunity.
  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the product portfolio.
  • Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver polished, data-driven presentations for executive leadership and board meetings, translating complex financial insights into clear, strategic narratives.
  • Analyze and interpret product performance, unit economics, and key metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop business cases for new product initiatives, including ROI analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and go-to-market financial planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Development, Marketing, Sales and Finance to align financial goals with operational execution.
  • Drive automation and scalability of financial reporting tools and dashboards to support a rapidly evolving business.
  • Identify and assess revenue-related risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between the finance and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication of revenue-related insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards and company policies.
  • Become astute in and apply as appropriate various business, economic trends, and seasonality.
  • Set up and maintain automated data processes
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or similar required
  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance roles, preferably in a high-growth or tech environment.
  • Proven experience building complex financial models and conducting scenario analysis.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Tableau, SQL, Power BI and/or FP&A platforms is a plus.
  • Proficiency in creating executive-level presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools.
  • Accounting/GAAP and finance background preferred
  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
  • Superior problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting and financial statement analysis
  • Experience in healthcare merchant payment services, and/or SaaS software platforms preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of data analysis tools
  • Ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualizations.
