Sr Financial Analyst, FP&A - Revelyst

Vista Outdoor's Revelyst business is seeking a dynamic Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our talented team. This role combines the responsibilities of a senior budget accountant with the analytical tasks of an FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) senior analyst. This highly visible role will be responsible for working closely with leadership and functional owners to deliver monthly G&A reviews, perform financial analysis in support of the budget, as well as assist in month and quarter end closing efforts. You will play a key part in ensuring Revelyst's financial health by creating and managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, and supporting the financial planning process.

This position reports to the Sr Manager, Corporate FP&A and is based out of our Anoka offices.

As the Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A, you will have an opportunity to:

• Work closely with leadership in the development and delivery of G&A monthly reviews and annual plan review presentations
• Support the company's budget team to report financial results to management per required schedules
• Perform financial analysis to promptly identify any significant variances from the plan
• Provide key analysis of monthly performance and accurate monthly/quarterly/annual forecasts
• Provide training and consulting services to management personnel to support departmental financial accountabilities
• Establish strong working relationships with both upper management and peers
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed
• Support month end/quarter end close
• Support G&A related internal corporate and external audits
• Create and support an environment of financial control

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Prior experience with ERP systems
• Strong background and understanding of GAAP
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to create financial presentations that are highly understandable to a wide audience
• Strong communication skills; capable of presenting complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format
• Familiarity with concepts, practices and procedures of financial planning & analysis
• Ability to organize and prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects and function effectively as a team member
