Leads complex manufacturing initiatives that improve safety, quality, throughput, efficiency, and cost. Designs and optimizes manufacturing processes, evaluates equipment and automation, manages capital projects, applies statistical and continuous-improvement methods, establishes manufacturing standards, and leads cross-functional teams. The role also mentors engineering and operations personnel and partners with materials engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers.

Lead Centerfire Assembly production teams to meet safety, quality, demand, employee, and cost targets. Supervise day-to-day floor operations, QA interactions, production reporting, staffing, training, SOPs, and continuous improvement (Lean/PES). Support budgeting, strategic planning, and act for the department manager as needed.

Lead development and optimization of high-volume steel processing (forming and heat treatment). Recommend equipment, troubleshoot metallurgical/process issues, partner with vendors, and create internal steel processing and quality standards.

Provide hands-on quality engineering and continuous improvement for shotshell product line: conduct capability studies, DOE, SPC and MSA; lead Six Sigma projects; support ISO9000 and supplier quality; specify and install inspection equipment; support capital projects and quality information systems; provide data analysis and training to plant teams.

Design, program, and commission PLC-based controls and HMI/SCADA for automated manufacturing. Integrate vision systems, robotics, servo motion, and lasers; ensure NEC/OSHA compliance and machine safety. Lead projects full lifecycle, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/vision systems, integrate machine data with MES/IT, and mentor team members while developing technical documentation and standards.

Lead capital and non-capital manufacturing projects: justify expenditures, design/process development, introduce new products and tooling, implement cost reductions, troubleshoot production issues, perform FMEAs, manage engineering change orders, and coordinate suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve high-volume metallic parts manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Support plant operations through data extraction and analysis, build daily/weekly/monthly reports and presentations, identify and drive continuous improvement, assist leadership with meetings and administrative tasks, and develop systems to monitor performance.

Operate semi-automatic priming machines to fill charging plates with priming mix, perform quality checks, clear machine jams, transport materials, lift and pour primed shells, maintain cleanliness and safety, complete hazardous waste training, and follow all plant and safety procedures.

Lead production cell/line to meet output, quality, and safety targets. Coach and coordinate hourly employees, implement continuous improvement (Kaizen/Lean), maintain standard work and production reporting, troubleshoot abnormalities, and occasionally perform production tasks. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and attendance.

Operate and tend production machines, transport raw and finished materials, drain/fill machines, weigh and reconcile scrap in SAP/MRP, perform quality checks, follow safety/ISO/5S standards, complete hazardous waste procedures and forklift operations, and assist with training and continuous improvement.

The Manufacturing Production Associate 2 operates machines, performs quality checks, handles materials, and ensures safety compliance while supporting team training and process documentation.

Tend and operate one or more production machines, transport raw/semi-finished/finished materials, perform quality checks and documentation, maintain clean/safe work area, follow safety/ISO procedures, and complete hazardous waste handling training. Regular attendance and willingness to work overtime required.

Maintain and troubleshoot production machinery, perform machine-shop tasks and setups, train staff and update SOPs/training plans, ensure safety and regulatory (RCRA/ARC) compliance, coordinate with engineering and quality, and drive continuous process improvements.

Manufacture, repair, and maintain tools, gauges, and machine components to blueprint specs; set up and operate machine shop equipment; perform precision inspection and welding; troubleshoot and maintain machines; support production schedules and toolroom operations; train backup operators and work with engineers to design tooling and estimate costs.

Lead and supervise hourly manufacturing employees to meet safety, quality, cost, and production schedule targets. Drive continuous improvement, analyze performance, train staff, coordinate with support departments, maintain attendance/time records, manage inventory accuracy, perform safety audits/accident investigations, and deliver performance evaluations.

The Safety Engineer coordinates safety compliance, oversees inspections, conducts industrial hygiene work, and develops training for safety protocols in ammunition manufacturing.

Lead and manage a regional sales team for Remington Ammunition accessories across 11 Midwest states. Build customer and partner relationships, support product development with testing and feedback, develop promotions and budgets, and drive international sales growth. Frequent domestic travel for sales events and corporate meetings required.
