The Team:

The GTM Marketing Team creates demand for Celonis at scale. We do this with programmatic campaigns consisting of a repository of global and field programs that fits the needs of each market, segment and team, delivering integrated, account/industry/persona centric customer journeys along the entire funnel. Alongside this we continue to make our community of customers our best advocates and speakers via our Community platform, Celopeers.  Included in this team are Field Marketing, Global Campaigns, Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations. The Role:

Based in Milan, the Sr. Field Marketing Manager, Italy is the demand generation lead for that region, responsible for the entire demand generation execution and strategy. This person sits within the wider demand generation team that includes Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, Global Programs and Marketing Operations. 

The work you’ll do:

  • Build the regional demand generation plan working closely with regional sales leaders, driving execution thru all contributors: account executives, business development representatives, partners and the digital marketing teams
  • Execute the field marketing part of the demand generation plan by implementing global persona campaigns and devising local initiatives to create a multi-channel marketing strategy that includes, but not limited to, events and round tables (digital or physical), account-based marketing, partner marketing (co-sell and thru), email campaigns, third-party partnerships, customer and community marketing (Celopeers), reference marketing.
  • Collaborate closely with the global digital marketing team to execute campaigns via digital channels (email, LinkedIn etc) and also works in tandem with global programs to execute local flavor of global campaigns in region
  • Drive the full Nordics&CIS demand generation pipeline by supporting and equipping business development, sales and partners with the necessary tools to generate their own pipe.
  • Responsible for regional field marketing spend and manages demand generation reporting driving corrective action if needed to achieve demand generation targets of the region.  
  • Work with the corporate marketing teams, ensuring consistency of message and brand, in localizing, adapting and executing corporate campaigns
  • Communicate effectively and enables the regional sales and partner teams with new Marketing / Sales messages and propositions
  • Collaborate with regional peers, shares best practices and aligns with the extended marketing teams

The qualifications you need:

  • Language requirements: Fluent or native English & Italian 
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience of which 4 years minimum in a regional marketing role responsible for a 7-digit pipe loading target at a leading Software or SaaS company.
  • Extensive experience in a related Demand Generation or Field Marketing position.
  • Proven track record of working with Sales, partner team and customer success teams as well as corporate marketing team and managing budgets, planning / executing campaigns that drive demand in the assigned regional markets.
  • Experience in B2B Marketing, ideally in the Data Analytics market and/or SaaS experience preferable.
  • Proven track record of using a wide variety of tactics like account-based marketing, events, online, email, partner marketing. Experience in Marketing Automation (Pardot) and proficient in using Salesforce.com, highly proficient in using MS Office/ Google equivalent.
  • Analytical and data driven approach to marketing planning and reporting
  • The ability to travel within the region is necessary; and for regular team meetings in the regional headquarter. This is a hands-on role that requires energy, enthusiasm and experience.
