EXPERIENCES/ Responsible for supporting the planning, on‑the‑ground leadership, and execution of the client’s experiential marketing programs within one of the 7 U.S. host cities, with a primary focus on the Fan Festival Experience and additional market activations as assigned.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO
Octagon is seeking Sr. Experiential Managers to join our team as a key operators in delivering world‑class fan experiences during a major global soccer moment. In this role, you will support the execution of large‑scale activations, working closely with internal teams, vendors, and partners to bring our client’s brand to life at the Stadium Fan Experience area and other potential touchpoints across the market.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in live event environments, excels at cross‑functional coordination, and brings a strong operational mindset to complex, fast‑moving programs. You’ll help manage logistics, staffing, vendor relationships, and on‑site execution to ensure seamless delivery throughout the event window.
The role requires full‑time, in‑market presence in your assigned host city from June 1 through July 20. Other main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as the on-the-ground lead for the client’s experiential program at the Stadium Fan Experience within the assigned host city.
- Manage on‑site operations including load‑in/out, vendor coordination, credentialing, staff oversight, and daily event management.
- Ensure all activations meet brand, safety, and operational standards.
- Manage operational materials such as run‑of‑show documents, staffing plans (shifts, meals, transportation), and merchandise inventory.
- Provide clear communication and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships with vendors, partners, and local event stakeholders.
- Serve as a reliable on‑site operator, helping lead staff, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a high‑quality fan experience.
- Support real‑time decision‑making and problem‑solving during live event days.
- Contribute to post‑event recaps, measurement, and insights.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years of on-the-ground experience in experiential marketing or event production, preferably with sports properties or large-scale events.
- Proven success managing complex, multi‑day and/or long-hours live event operations.
- A collaborative, hands‑on leader with strong communication skills and a proven ability to problem‑solve under pressure.
- Strong leadership presence with experience managing large, diverse teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staffing, scheduling, travel, accommodations, and on-site logistics.
- High stamina and physical ability to work long hours during activations.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to or more than eight hours at a time.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed.
This position pays an annualized rate of $82,000, and is not overtime-eligible. Contract positions with Octagon are not benefits-eligible.
