Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Data Steward / Governance Engineer to lead data governance, data quality and master data management for our Aftermarket Parts & Services (AMPS) business. This role ensures high‑quality product, parts, service, pricing, inventory, and installed base data across ERP, PLM, CRM, IoT, eCommerce, and analytics platforms.
I. Key Responsibilities
· Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, taxonomies, and business rules.
· Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage across enterprise systems.
· Govern data domains: Product Master, Parts, Service BOMs, Supersession, Installed Base, Pricing, Inventory, Digital Assets.
· Monitor and improve data quality across SAP, QAD, Windchill, Salesforce, Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
· Support eCommerce data needs (PDP/PLP, fitment, pricing & availability).
· Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Service, Digital, Data Engineering, and Integration teams (MuleSoft integration).
· Drive resolution of data issues impacting catalog, pricing, and operational accuracy.
· Support analytics and IoT/predictive maintenance through standardized, governed data.
· Utilize data governance tools and integrate with enterprise systems.
· Support data integration for diesel generators and predictive maintenance analytics.
· Continuous Improvement
· Identify opportunities to automate data stewardship tasks.
· Drive initiatives for data maturity and governance adoption across the organization.
II. Preferred Skills:
· Experience with eCommerce data, fitment/compatibility, and catalogue structures.
· Strong SQL skills and understanding of Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog
· Familiarity with SAP ECC, QAD, Windchill, and Salesforce data concepts.
