The job
As a part of the global Sustainability team, this role plays a key part in advancing AVEVA’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and non-financial disclosure efforts. As our ESG Senior Analyst, you will lead and support a range of reporting and engagement activities that help demonstrate AVEVA’s progress against its sustainability commitments and respond to evolving stakeholder expectations.
You’ll work cross-functionally to lead our annual Sustainability Report in partnership with third-party consultants, manage ESG data collection, support mandatory disclosures, and coordinate responses to customer requests. You’ll also help contribute to strategic planning around AVEVA’s reporting roadmap.
Key responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development of AVEVA’s annual sustainability report, shaping the narrative and coordinating data and insights from across the business to showcase our sustainability progress and priorities.
Oversee mandatory ESG disclosures, including CSRD data collection and alignment in coordination with our parent company, Modern Slavery statements, and emerging supply chain-related regulations.
Manage the annual cadence of ESG benchmarks, working with functional leads to collect, validate, and submit data for key frameworks and surveys such as EcoVadis and CDP.
Oversee the processing of customer ESG questionnaires and maintain up-to-date ESG information for use by Sales and Legal teams.
Support the ESG workstream by leading the data quality assurance process to ensure reported data is auditable and reliable.
Develop performance improvement strategies and targets for prioritized ESG indices, informed by independent analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Represent AVEVA in external ESG forums and provide strategic recommendations on how emerging trends and regulations should shape our non-financial reporting practices.
Essential requirements
Expertise in sustainability reporting with 3-5 years of relevant experience reporting against sustainability and ESG frameworks (e.g., CSRD, IFRS/ISSB, SASB).
Familiarity with process and expectations of sustainability rating agencies, rankings and indices, with experience in managing the process (i.e. Ecovadis, CDP, etc.)
Previous experience with materiality assessments, corporate ESG data collection and development of a corporate sustainability report required; data assurance experience a strong plus
Experience supporting the implementation of ESG data systems, with a solid understanding of data governance and control mechanisms preferred;
Prior corporate experience with high tech/software companies preferred; experience with companies in industries supported by AVEVA (e.g. CPG, Food & Bev, Infrastructure, Energy) a plus
Must have a master's degree in Sustainability or Sustainable Development, Master of Environmental Mangement, Master of Public Policy (MPP) or equivalent degree.

Passion and experience as a resourceful corporate change maker that has designed and implemented new cross-functional processes and excels at cross-functional project management
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and align diverse stakeholder groups across functions. Experience leading cross-functional projects and working groups is essential.
