What we’re looking for…
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to design, develop, and scale mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern development practices. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on coding ability, and experience building solutions that scale horizontally.
What you’ll be doing…
Design and implement scalable, high-performance applications and services.
Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Celery for asynchronous task processing.
Develop and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) services using FastMCP.
Design and manage containerized environments using Docker Swarm.
Optimize data storage and retrieval using Couchbase and other NoSQL technologies.
Ensure system reliability and scalability through horizontal scaling strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and efficient solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across distributed systems and Linux environments.
Use spec-driven development (SDD) practices with AI coding tools such as Claude Code.
Qualities you possess…
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
6+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Python and experience with Celery for distributed task queues.
Strong knowledge of Docker Swarm and container orchestration.
Hands-on experience with Couchbase or similar NoSQL databases.
Advanced understanding of Linux systems administration and performance tuning.
Proven ability to design horizontally scalable architectures.
Deep experience with AWS services and cloud-native design principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
