Working alongside experts across Process Integration, Wet Etch, CVD, Diffusion, Metals, Dry Etch, and CMP, you will contribute to technology advancements that drive performance, scalability, and yield.
As a Senior Engineer in Photolithography Process Development, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing advanced lithography processes for future DRAM technologies. This position offers the opportunity to lead critical process development efforts, collaborate with equipment and material suppliers, and apply data-driven approaches to solve complex technical challenges. You will have significant ownership of process roadmaps while contributing to innovative solutions that support Micron's technology goals!
Responsibilities:
- Lead development of manufacturing-friendly photolithography processes for next-generation memory technologies using 365nm, 248nm, and 193nm immersion lithography
- Collaborate with equipment and material suppliers to identify and implement solutions to complex process challenges
- Develop new design, layout, and lithography methodologies that enable future memory device architectures
- Apply data analytics and machine learning techniques to identify root causes, optimize process performance, and improve yield
- Document and communicate project plans, technical results, and innovation opportunities, including intellectual property disclosures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field, OR Bachelor's degree with5+ years of Photolithography industry experience
- Understanding of optics, including immersion lithography, polarized illumination, and low-k1 imaging
- Knowledge of lithography materials, chemistry, and processes related to 365nm, 248nm, and 193nm lithography technologies
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Experience using AI tools to automate workflows and improve engineering productivity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Research and development experience with a demonstrated ability to develop manufacturing-friendly semiconductor technologies
- Academic or industry experience in photolithography and semiconductor manufacturing
- Experience with photolithography simulation software and lithography characterization techniques
- Data science, programming, or machine learning experience applied to semiconductor process development
- Experience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, and yield improvement initiatives.
