The Role
Develops and maintains semiconductor fab equipment layout drawings and ramp plans using AutoCAD and Revit. Coordinates equipment installations, relocations, expansions, and factory design with Facilities, Engineering, and Fab Support teams. Optimizes layouts, capacity, and tool utilization through data analysis and discrete event simulation. Defines project requirements, timelines, business processes, and SOPs while managing cross-functional deliverables and presenting technical solutions and risks.

Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC
Develop AutoCAD/Revit drawings for all equipment installations, de-facilitations, and relocations. Maintain timely ramp plan layouts that accurately display all planned tool activity and outlines ways to optimize existing and future equipment layouts. Represent fab areas and coordinate design relocations, upgrades, remodels, and expansions. Partner with key collaborators to develop and drive improvements to key performance metrics. Identify project requirements, develop timelines and business processes, and hold collaborators accountable for deliverables to meet project objectives. Partner with Facilities, Site/Global Engineering, and Fab Support/Automation teams to ensure layout feasibility based on structural, mechanical, electrical, cost, and schedule limitations. Collaborate with local and global collaborators to research alternative technical solutions, and develop processes and associated business rules, to address critical/major layout planning issues. Compose and deliver presentations that clearly articulate sophisticated issues, propose solutions, and identify potential risks to a broad audience.
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
