We looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Senior Field Application Engineer to drive business growth through strategic customer engagement, technical expertise, and market insight. This role merges in-depth product and application knowledge with strong customer interfacing and business development skills. You will act as the key technical liaison between customers, distributors, sales, and product development teams, supporting design-in/design-win processes, identifying new opportunities, and translating market needs into actionable product requirements.

Serve as the primary technical interface to customers and distributors for power semiconductor applications.
Identify and drive new business opportunities, guiding them from design-in through to design-win.
Collaborate closely with sales, product management, and marketing teams to align customer requirements with product offerings.
Analyze customer technical needs, competition, and application trends to propose tailored solutions and new product ideas.
Support product definition by interfacing with R&D and marketing teams, including feedback on technology and feature needs.
Create and present technical materials, including Application Notes, Articles, Conference Papers, and customer-specific documentation.
Conduct technical trainings, seminars, and product demonstrations for clients and internal stakeholders.
Develop detailed reports on customer requirements, costing, feasibility, and risk analyses to support strategic planning and execution.
Act as the technical lead in cross-functional teams for post-sales support and new product launches.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline; an advanced degree is a plus.
7+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with strong exposure to power electronics and customer-facing roles.
Proven experience in business development or technical sales support.
Broad understanding of semiconductor technologies, topologies, and market demands.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; fluent in English and German (other European languages are an advantage).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess feasibility and market fit.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience working with global manufacturing organizations and cross-functional teams.
