Job Description & Requirements
As the Facilities Building Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the building maintenance of all the buildings and external compound areas. Your areas of responsibilities include Facilities Maintenance System Administrator, Cafeteria Services, Janitorial Services, Civil/Structure installation works, general building maintenance refurbishment/renewal program/project, landscape, pest control, sanitary, office equipment maintenance, renovation work and office furniture layout planning.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Develop scope of work for the provision of provide outsourced services
- Develop standard operating procedure and risk assessment for routine and non-routine works
- Lead daily meeting to meet day-day operation
- Manage and assign FMS work tasks
- Provide project management to meet the budget and schedule on multiple projects
- Provide guidance and training to building services technician and technologist as required
- Provide direction and work towards meeting goals (long/short term) and progress of goals to concerned party
- Lead and manage all the works to achieve a high level of safety standards to meet company goal in safety performance
- Maintain performance metric for in-house contractors and service contract providers
- Work closely with all site departments in developing strategies and processes to ensure internal customer requirements and satisfaction is met
- Listen effectively to concerns and ideas from employees
- All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame
- Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one's scope of work.
Job Requirements, Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building related field is required
- Experience in building maintenance related fields will be advantageous
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred

Plans facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs. Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.

Skills Required
- Experience leading mechanical construction for semiconductor fab and cleanroom environments
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with cleanroom HVAC systems, MAUs, FFUs, interstitial plenums, and cleanroom pressurization
- Experience with process exhaust systems (including acid, solvent, toxic), chilled water, process vacuum, CDA and PCW systems
- Proven experience in commissioning, RFE and RFM readiness, and mechanical systems testing for production readiness
- Experience reviewing and approving mechanical design packages, specifications, and commissioning plans
- Ability to lead cross-discipline coordination with Electrical, I&C, Process, CSA, and tool-hookup teams
- Familiarity with Global Facilities Mechanical and Cleanroom standards and relevant safety/regulatory requirements for hazardous systems
