The Product:

This innovative solution utilizes the unified, lightweight Falcon agent, which enables real-time, maintenance-free vulnerability assessment. Moreover, it integrates the robust, predictive ExPRT.AI prioritization model, trained on world-class threat intelligence and real-life threat detection incidents. These features empower security teams to allocate their limited resources strategically, focusing 95% of resources on the 5% of risk exposures that are most likely to be exploited by threat actors. 

 

In addition, Falcon Exposure Management offers unparalleled real-time asset discovery and understanding, extensive exposure assessment and consolidated visibility across the entire attack surface. About the Role:

CrowdStrike is looking for a Sr. SDET to join our growing cloud team. We’re looking for smart people who want to be challenged and take ownership of what they build. Come use cutting edge tools and technologies as well as tried and true ones. Work on: verifying key features and functionality that spans our processing, data and customer facing application layers to ensure it supports millions of events per second, stores terabytes of data and delivers accurate information to the customer.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the cloud engineering and product management  team to understand product architecture and functionality.

  • Understand end-to-end testing requirements and maintain test plans for functionality and system testing.

  • Strongly contribute to Test Case/Test script writing.

  • Contribute to Test Automation Framework Development/Enhancements

  • Participate in the creation and enhancement of the continuous integration platform used to test all our products.

  • Communicate test results to identify risks, dependencies and escalate the same in a timely manner.

  • Orchestrate the end-to-end testing efforts to plan, design, execute and report the delivery of the features

  • Manage, design, review test plans and provide accurate forecast of QA resource & effort estimations for deliverables

  • Must be able to pivot testing focus based on the priorities to align with business objectives and manage expectations.

  • Assist with classification and triage of defects/issues to prioritize, isolate, replicate and support resolution in JIRA

What You'll Need:

  • A computer science background or equivalent experience (programming, data structures, algorithms, etc.)

  • 11+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) manual plus automation role in product based  companies

  • Experience with any/all of the following: 

    • Go, Python, Scala, Java, C++, JavaScript

  • Proficient with:

    • Networking: protocols, distributed systems, layered architectures.

    • Web Services: JSON, REST, RPC, XML, AWS EC2 & S3.

    • Data storage: RDMBS, NoSQL, and Caching Technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, SQLServer, Redis, 

    • OOP, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems.

  • Strong debugging skills: ability to spot design flaws, race conditions and performance bottlenecks in complex architectures.

  • Strong experience and proficiency in working with  Windows, Linux (various distros) and mac platforms 

  • Proven and strong experience in automation framework design

  • Experience in performance, scalability and longevity tests will be an added advantage

Bonus Points:

  • Authored and led successful open-source libraries and projects.

  • Contributions to the open-source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging).

  • Existing exposure to Go, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, GRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
