What success looks like in this role:
- Providing SQL Server database administration, database security and production support for critical systems with high availability requirements.
- Query Analyzer, SQL Server Profiler, SQL Server Agent, Data uploads, SQL jobs,
- SQL programming.
- Upgrading and maintaining SQL Server instances.
- Planning and executing database backup and recovery
- Providing database tuning for performance and stability
- Managing database monitoring
- Experience in Extracting, Transforming and Loading data from Excel, Flat file to SQL server
- Researching and recommending solutions that meets business needs and Enterprise operational requirements
- Experience with SQL Server Clustering and Replication, partition
- Manage and develop teams that maximize quality, efficiency, and productivity
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Provides technical support to application development teams
- Partnering with other IT teams to ensure quality support and delivery to the end-user.
- on-call support for the critical system issues
- Working with Application support, Server Support, Storage Support and Networking teams.
- Preferred Azure SQL Certification or expertise.
- Good communication skills to be able to communicate with team members and client
- Good Team and Inter-personal Skills
You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 4-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
