Job Description

Primary Function of Position
The Sr. Endoluminal Marketing Manager drives adoption of the Ion Endoluminal system by developing and executing marketing strategies for Ion robotic-assisted bronchoscopy solutions across Korea. This role leads the Intuitive Thoracic Oncology and lung care strategy from building marketing plans with key stakeholders to establishing metrics that measure their impact. 

The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative thinker who thrives on rolling up their sleeves to strengthen hospital relationships, engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and foster alignment across the commercial team through clinical education and Intuitive technology awareness programs.

Essential Job Duties

Marketing Strategy & Business Planning

  • Develop and execute the annual Ion marketing plan and Total Lung Care strategy, translating business objectives into actionable initiatives that drive adoption and measurable business impact.
  • Develop a deep understanding of target customer personas and identify compelling clinical, economic, and operational value propositions for each stakeholder group.
  • Generate market insights and leverage customer, competitive, and business data to inform strategy and prioritize opportunities.
  • Enhance Ion QTI (Quantify the Impact) models by incorporating clinical and financial outcomes data to demonstrate customer value and support adoption decisions.
  • Establish success metrics and regularly evaluate program effectiveness to optimize performance and scalability.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Lead collaboration across Ion Clinical Marketing, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Patient Marketing, Commercial teams, Business Operations, and Korea Leadership Team to ensure alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Partner closely with APAC regional teams and global stakeholders to adapt and execute initiatives that support both regional and local business objectives.
  • Align stakeholders around integrated marketing plans and customer engagement strategies that effectively communicate Intuitive's value proposition.
  • Drive execution through influence and collaboration in a highly matrixed organization.

Commercial Marketing & Program Execution

  • Lead the design and execution of high-impact marketing programs, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with overall business goals.
  • Develop integrated campaigns, educational initiatives, and customer-facing resources that strengthen awareness, belief, and adoption of Ion and Intuitive's thoracic oncology solutions.
  • Partner with GAVE (Global Access, Value, and Economics), Clinical Affairs, and other internal stakeholders to support clinical research, health economic studies, publications, and related evidence-generation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with da Vinci Thoracic Surgery Marketing and other relevant teams to advance Intuitive's broader thoracic oncology strategy and customer engagement approach.
  • Develop and manage marketing collateral and resources that support commercial execution while ensuring compliance with Legal, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs requirements.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships to maximize program effectiveness and execution quality.

KOL & Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, and strategic customers to support advocacy, education, and technology adoption.
  • Partner with Korea Marketing and Commercial Leadership to identify, develop, and engage influential physicians and surgeons through Intuitive-sponsored educational programs, peer-to-peer engagements, and observational experiences.
  • Promote awareness of Intuitive's clinical vision, educational philosophy, and innovation approach within the thoracic oncology community.
  • Gather customer insights and market feedback to continuously refine marketing strategies, messaging, and customer engagement approaches.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 8 years of combined experience, primarily in marketing, with exposure to sales, commercial, or key account management. Healthcare industry background preferred
  • Experience in medical/surgical devices and robotics, broncho suite, or operating room is heavily preferred
  • Strong storyteller with proven ability to make meaningful connections between target markets, customer needs and the impact of Intuitive's solutions in a differentiated way 
  • Clinical acumen in lung health specialties is preferred
  • Experience with Marketing Automation, CRM (Salesforce.com), Google Analytics and Tableau
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a matrixed organization and successfully manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Prior experience working with and managing agencies on marketing programs is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with emphasis on leadership, relationship development and influence management
  • Superior verbal/written communication and presentation skills, team building, and interpersonal skills both in Korean and English
  • Skilled in mentoring and coaching colleagues
  • Regional travel to include national trips as needed. Ability to travel up to 40%
