Responsibilities also include sales and procedure reporting, expense submissions, and contributing to territory quotas. Travel up to 25% and occasional nights and weekends are required.

Manages high-volume medical device production operations, including staffing, training, performance management, production metrics, quality and safety compliance, lean manufacturing, process improvements, material disposition, budgeting, capacity planning, and cross-functional issue resolution. Leads supervisors and production teams while supporting audits, CAPA, process validations, engineering transfers, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Build scalable backend services and APIs supporting robotic surgical fleets and application workflows. Requires substantial AEMP or sterilization experience, strong communication skills, German and English fluency, and extensive overnight travel.

Supports da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery utilization by providing clinical support during operating room procedures, training surgeons and hospital staff, implementing robotic programs, managing key accounts, resolving customer issues, and driving instrument and accessory sales. The role also develops clinical plans, supports market events, mentors new hires, manages billing-related tasks, and partners with sales teams to grow hospital adoption.

Leads human factors research and design engineering for robotic surgical systems, instruments, and accessories. Applies robotics, HRI, HMI, usability engineering, and mixed-methods research to identify user needs, mitigate usability risks, define design inputs, develop prototypes, and guide product decisions. Collaborates with engineering, clinical, regulatory, quality, and product teams while authoring compliant human factors deliverables and mentoring others. Requires at least five years of industry experience and up to 25% domestic and international travel.

Clinically sell and expand utilization of Intuitive’s da Vinci Surgical System across the Detroit territory. Develop sales strategies, train surgical teams, support operating-room integration, provide clinical expertise across specialties, drive procedure adoption with key opinion leaders, sell instruments and accessories, support regional events, and manage sales administration.

Negotiates, drafts, reviews, and finalizes complex commercial contracts for medical device products and services. Manages contract lifecycles, renewals, amendments, compliance, and risk mitigation while collaborating with Sales, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and customers. Advises stakeholders on contractual requirements, privacy and data agreements, industry changes, and new product impacts. Requires strong negotiation, contract drafting, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Develop flexible robotic endoscopes for minimally invasive surgery from proof of concept through prototype and pilot manufacturing. Design and verify components and assemblies, create test methods and fixtures, analyze sensor data, define requirements, investigate root causes, support preclinical and verification activities, and document manufacturing and design outputs. The role requires hands-on collaboration across mechanical, materials, manufacturing, and clinical disciplines.

Lead cross-functional small molecule drug development programs from preclinical studies through clinical development and NDA submission.
