The role partners with business stakeholders, external counsel, and global legal teams across jurisdictions. It requires a qualified lawyer with at least five years of experience, corporate law expertise, strong judgment, and occasional regional and international travel. The position is based in Aubonne, Switzerland, with at least three onsite days weekly.

Manages direct-material supplier categories, including strategic sourcing, category roadmaps, contract and price negotiation, supplier performance, risk and capacity planning, inventory optimization, and cost reduction. Leads cross-functional teams, supplier reviews, sourcing initiatives, and mitigation projects while supporting production continuity and lean purchasing. Requires extensive supply chain experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, strong negotiation and project management skills, ERP and Excel proficiency, and approximately 25% domestic and international supplier travel.

Conduct open-ended AI research and prototyping for robotic-assisted surgery. Develop and evaluate solutions using computer vision, generative AI, robotics, autonomy, and agentic AI. Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and clinical experts, document findings, present results, and contribute to publications or patents.

Design, develop, and test software and algorithms that control manufacturing machines and improve production efficiency, performance, and safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide project updates, present results, and troubleshoot software and hardware issues. The intern will work with automation, manufacturing equipment, data analysis, and potentially firmware-related systems while contributing to a major project team.

Develop sim-to-real-to-sim tools for Intuitive’s surgical robots. Implement and test controller architectures in MATLAB and embedded C++, build realistic simulation environments using MuJoCo and Isaac Sim, synthesize environments from video data, and conduct closed-loop tests between simulation and robot hardware to advance autonomous and semi-autonomous control systems.

Leads technical engagement, deployment, and integration of digital healthcare solutions across integrated delivery networks and strategic enterprise accounts. Partners with healthcare IT, cybersecurity, governance, and executive stakeholders to design scalable implementations, navigate technical approvals, establish governance, track adoption, and develop standardized deployment processes. Serves as a trusted technical advisor while translating customer feedback into product and engineering improvements.

Develop and evaluate reinforcement learning algorithms for supervised autonomy in surgical robotics. The intern will collect trajectory data, train and benchmark offline RL models, adapt algorithms to surgical tasks, recommend experimental approaches, and potentially deploy an algorithm in simulation or on the dV5 robot for real-time validation. Findings will be presented to the broader team.

Implement and enhance SAP order-to-cash solutions, including requirements analysis, configuration, integration, testing, change management, and lifecycle support. The role partners with stakeholders and IT teams to improve Order Management, Logistics, Billing, Revenue, Pricing, and Inter-Company processes. It also leads solution design, cross-functional meetings, prioritization, project delivery, and business transitions while mentoring team members and managing consultants.

Administers and maintains the company’s learning management system, including content, user records, enrollments, assessments, reporting, and support. Troubleshoots issues, coordinates with IT and vendors, supports migrations and UAT, manages learning content for business units, trains users and junior administrators, supports process improvements, and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Conducts data science and statistical research supporting robotic-assisted surgery and cardiac surgery programs. Designs studies, analyzes complex clinical, surgical, product, financial, and longitudinal datasets, evaluates data quality and bias, applies causal inference and machine learning, and develops reproducible Python and SQL workflows. Communicates findings to scientific, clinical, technical, and business stakeholders and contributes to reports, publications, abstracts, presentations, and external research collaborations.

Owns end-to-end demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory control, logistics execution, and monthly S&OP for a regulated medical-device portfolio. The role coordinates imports, distributors, hospitals, service teams, global suppliers, and 3PL/4PL partners while managing service levels, inventory risk, expiry, compliance, and costs. Responsibilities include NPI and EOL planning, scenario analysis, planning-system deployment, KPI dashboards, continuous improvement, audits, and cross-functional stakeholder integration.
