Description and Requirements
Work Location: This is a fully virtual remote and does not require candidates to be within a commutable distance to a MetLife office. However, there is a strong preference for candidates who reside near a ML Hub .
The Sr. Enablement Technology & Data Consultant is responsible for leading the development and on-going management of the Group Benefits enablement technology content management platforms and delivery methods, as well as leading the strategic analysis of enablement effectiveness and making recommendations to drive resources.
This position is responsible for managing and governing the Group Benefits content management platform, Highspot, and serving as the liaison to the various partners we support. This position will maintain the platform, govern the content, design and build partner spots, pages and plays. This role also encompasses, but is not limited to, the use of analytics tools like PowerBI, Excel and Access to measure training data analytics, training investment calculations and analysis, program and document effectiveness, ROI case studies for trainings, programs, and/or applications, and industry benchmarking.
Responsibilities include strategically partnering with various constituencies, including - Market Enablement Organization, Marketing, Group Benefit Sales and Service, IT, Salesforce.com owners, Strategy and Product Leads

Principal Responsibilities:
- Provides strategic guidance on the best way to leverage enablement tools such as Highspot, Sharepoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Excel and Power BI across the GB organization
- Leads, develops and maintains resource spots, pages, plays, courses and pathways in the Highspot platform.
- Responsible for the governance and upload/maintenance of content in Highspot as well as ensuring licenses are properly allocated to the targeted audience through maintenance of a tracker.
- Recommends and implements metrics to track, measure, and store and report on effectiveness of initiatives, building data visualization tools and dashboards to drive accurate decision-making in PowerBI or Excel.
- Develop and maintain various SharePoint lists and pages, involving development and maintenance of PowerApp Forms and Power Automate Flows.
- Leads the development and analysis of operational and transactional data and creates high level ad hoc reports of operational financial and performance results, including trend analysis, status of major initiatives, escalating issues, and potential solutions, as it pertains to the effectiveness of initiatives and programs
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Leads project meetings to deliver needs of the business on time.
- Leads highest level research, data mining, predictive modeling, and business analytics projects to identify knowledge gaps and learning opportunities
- Develops formal recommendations and presents to senior leadership on how to leverage technology to support related organizational effectiveness.
- Oversees complex technology initiatives that include various phases and large cross-functional project teams
- Working autonomously, oversees very large/critical technology projects, typically spanning the entire organization or include various and distinct LOB's
- Provides updates to senior leadership regarding project status and the implementation of new or revised approaches or initiatives
- Designs, implements and monitors the progress of initiatives, milestones and budgets to ensure timeliness and deliverables are met
- Manages critical relationships with consultants and vendors, internal end users and business customers/leadership
- Provides information and/or training to end users to help resolve inquiries related to assigned initiatives and/or programs
- Proactively gathers feedback relative to organizational obstacles and acts as an advocate to manage and resolve issues that could adversely impact the effectiveness of learning initiatives
- Leads and motivates project team members that are not direct reports that may span the entire organization and provides guidance to lower level staff
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:
- Excellent knowledge of the insurance industry and MetLife
- Strong understanding of the group insurance organization, processes/procedures and project workflow
- Expert knowledge of enablement technology and data mining tools (Highspot, Sharepoint, Infopath, Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Access), Power BI, PowerApps, Microsoft Forms) to provide the best strategic guidance on the way to use these tools.
- The desire to learn and expand knowledge to elevate projects
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) at all levels of the organization
- Ability to champion strategies and initiatives involving new courses of action and gain approval from senior leadership
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, make quick decisions, and frequently reprioritize activities
- Ability to lead cross-functional groups within and outside of GB organization in order to develop and execute strategies that drive sales force productivity
- Customer centric focus - ensures a world class customer service experience
- Advanced planning and execution skills
- Advanced project leadership skills including the ability to identify and leverage internal and external resources in a complex business environment
- Ability to prioritize work to maximize results
- 5-8 years of experience in relevant position
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
- Travel 5%
The salary range for applicants for this position is $68,300 - $114,900.
