Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team in Miami, FL or Remote Florida.
The Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for providing analytical, technical, and strategic support to the Small Group Employee Benefits team. This position partners with Account Managers, Account Executives, Producers, carriers, and clients to develop renewal strategies, analyze benefit plans, support compliance initiatives, prepare client deliverables, and provide exceptional service to small/mid-market group clients.
How You Will Contribute:
Manage and coordinate the employee benefits renewal process for assigned small group clients.
Prepare and market employee benefit plans to carriers and vendors.
Analyze carrier proposals, rate calculations, renewals, and plan design alternatives.
Develop renewal comparisons, exhibits, contribution models, and client presentations.
Serve as a liaison between carriers, vendors, clients, and internal team members.
Assist with implementation of new business and benefit plan changes.
Support open enrollment planning, employee communications, and enrollment meetings.
Process employee enrollments, terminations, beneficiary changes, status changes, and other eligibility updates.
Review, prepare, and process enrollment forms and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain employee benefit records within carrier portals and benefits administration systems, including Employee Navigator, Ease, BenefitPoint, and other applicable platforms.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of employee benefits, insurance brokerage, consulting, or related experience preferred.
Active Life and Health License required or ability to obtain and maintain.
Experience with BenefitPoint, Employee Navigator, Ease, AMS360, or similar benefits technology platforms preferred.
Experience supporting fully insured and level funded small group benefit programs preferred.
Pay Range
75,000.00 - 80,000.00 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
