Reporting to the Director, EHS Operational Excellence, you will support the creation and implementation of systems, processes, and tools within a comprehensive EHS Management System. You will analyze and interpret EHS data, develop program content, deliver training, and build strong cross‑functional relationships. You will partner closely with enterprise EHS team members, operations support functions, manufacturing sites, and Supply Chain leadership. You will work to develop and implement an integrated approach to safety, environmental, and sustainability risk management within daily operations to reduce the frequency and severity of incidents, minimize environmental impact, and support the development of a more proactive, productive, and effective EHS team. You will support the creation and implementation of systems, processes, and tools within a comprehensive EHS Management System.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Support the EHS Operational Excellence Director and Platform EHS Directors through process implementation, training, and effective communication to build capability across the network
Promote EHS best practices and develop a centralized repository to organize and communicate those practices
Maintain and standardize EHS policies, technical documents, and reporting to streamline compliance requirements and improve audit readiness
Integrate tools and technology solutions to gather and analyze EHS risks and data to support world‑class results
Manage projects and project team resources, coordinating implementation and capability building across the network
Develop systems, processes, and tools to identify EHS risk, mitigate risk, and prevent losses within daily operations
Develop training materials and deliver training at enterprise and site levels to build capability related to EHS systems, processes, and tools
Use behavioral analysis tools to assess behaviors and organizational culture and develop programs aligned to proactive safety culture
Analyze EHS and sustainability data and apply AI tools to identify insights and improvement opportunities
Partner with enterprise and site EHS personnel to build data analysis capability
Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, IT, and Engineering to align EHS systems and reporting with business priorities
Establish and maintain EHS data governance standards, data definitions, and quality controls to ensure accurate and consistent reporting
Support EHS audit and assessment processes to ensure compliance and management system effectiveness
Ingredients Required for Your Success
Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field
Five or more years of practical EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Experience training large groups
Experience leading projects and project teams to on‑time delivery of milestones and work product
Understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations at the state and federal levels
Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and applicability to facilities to ensure compliance
Experience performing risk assessments, audits, and root cause analysis
Experience defining problems, collecting and analyzing data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
Willingness to travel up to 25 percent

Compensation
Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
