What We DoResponsible for managing day-to-day operational processes in compliance with established policies and procedures. Provides training to onsite staff and offshore resources. Prepares reports and audits for internal processes and external client requests.
What You’ll Do
- Perform essential functions on behalf of the Document Management Collateral team which includes but not limited to ordering collateral documents from various document custodians / clients, requesting collateral files for defaulted and paid in full loans, tracking and reconciling client’s collateral files, safeguarding collateral files that are stored onsite and quality control review.
- Invoice review and reconciliation for management approval.
- Liaison between customers and other team members.
- Coordinates with offshore team members to ensure day-to-day processes are completed in a timely manner while providing feedback if errors are identified.
- Client requests and inquiries.
- Performs additional duties as required by Management.
- Interacts with clients, management and peers within the organization.
- Updates internal procedures as new regulations are identified and processes change.
- Tasks are generally more complex in nature and usually involve evaluation, judgment and decision making.
- No formal supervisory responsibility but will be operating at a Senior Specialist level.
- Works under minimal supervision applying well established techniques, procedures or specific standards
What You’ll Bring
- 3-5 years related experience
- 2+ Mortgage Servicing experience specifically in Collateral and Document Custodian Management
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Advanced Excel skills. Demonstrates proficiency in vLookup and creating / manipulating pivot tables
- Problem solver with strong organizational skills, is detail oriented, a natural curiosity with an eagerness to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal teams and external customers
- Thrives in contributing to a team working together to deliver beyond customer expectations
Salary Range: $27.40 – $45.66 Hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
