The Role
Lead and unify Finance product management across Oracle Fusion/EPM, Anaplan, Coupa and reporting. Own strategy execution, portfolio governance, discovery, and business outcomes while stabilizing month-end close and SOX controls. Build and coach a single finance product team, drive AI strategy for Finance, partner with Finance leaders, and steward delivery across hybrid onshore/offshore teams.

About the RoleGap Inc. Finance spans FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Brand Finance, Global Business Services, and Procurement across a $16B enterprise. We’re shifting to an empowered product model, and Finance is the proving ground.
You’ll be the day-to-day operational leader for Finance technology. Your VP sets the executive frame; you make it real — owning strategy execution, leading the product team, and building the working partnerships with Finance leadership that turn a service relationship into a strategic one.
You’re walking into a portfolio mid-transformation. Multiple PdMs touch Finance workstreams today and Finance experiences it as fragmented. The delivery model is evolving. Your job: unify the portfolio, stabilize delivery, partner with Finance leaders as a credible peer, and prove the product model delivers. What You'll Do

Unified Portfolio Leadership

  • Consolidate distributed Finance PdM coverage into one coordinated team with a single roadmap narrative. Finance should see one front door, not six backlogs.

  • Establish the operating rhythm, communication cadence, and portfolio governance that makes unified coverage real.

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Co-develop the Finance product strategy with the VP. Own execution across Oracle Fusion/EPM, Anaplan, Coupa, and the reporting ecosystem.

  • Drive the Finance AI strategy — where AI changes how Finance operates vs. where it’s theater. Build the case, sequence the bets, manage expectations.

  • Make prioritization decisions grounded in evidence. Defend them.

Discovery & Outcomes

  • Lead continuous discovery — regular contact with Finance users, prototype testing, evidence-based prioritization. Own business outcomes, not delivery metrics.

  • Bring data-driven perspective to shared decisions with Finance leadership. When you disagree on priorities, bring evidence and options — not pushback.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Finance product team. Coaching cadence, capability assessment, development plans. Your team learns the craft by watching you practice it.

  • Model the product operating model in an enterprise Finance context where SOX compliance and month-end close aren’t optional.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Be the consistent, credible GTS presence across Finance Leadership Team domains: GBS, Finance Technology, Controllership, Finance CoE, Brand Finance, Corp Finance & Treasury, Tax & Risk.

  • Know when to push, when to align, when to escalate to your VP, and when to make someone else the hero.

Delivery Stewardship

  • Keep Finance systems stable during transformation — month-end close, quarter-end, SOX controls. The lights stay on.

  • Navigate an evolving delivery model with hybrid on/offshore teams. Build productive partnerships, maintain continuity, and ensure Finance doesn’t feel the turbulence.

Who You Are

Product Management Leadership. 10+ years enterprise PdM, 3+ leading other PMs. You’ve run product teams, not managed backlogs.

Finance Domain Fluency. You know why the close calendar is sacred, what SOX means for system changes, and how FP&A and Controllership interact. Finance leaders recognize you as credible.

Executive Communication. You distill complexity into decisions, prepare for every question before the meeting, and produce materials executives act on.

Transformation Resilience. You’ve parachuted into an in-flight transformation — delivery model shifting, trust being built, multiple workstreams competing. You don’t quit when it gets messy.

AI as Product Strategy. You use LLMs daily as a force multiplier — analysis, executive materials, knowledge synthesis. Beyond personal productivity, you evaluate where AI creates genuine value in Finance workflows: close automation, anomaly detection, planning intelligence, reporting rationalization. You know the difference between a transformative use case and a demo, and you bring that judgment to every investment decision.

Strongly Preferred

  • Oracle Finance platform experience (Fusion, EPM, ARCS).

  • Anaplan or enterprise planning platform experience.

  • Retail, CPG, or multi-brand enterprise background.

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or Big 4 consulting background.

  • SVPG or equivalent product operating model fluency.

  • 3+ years leading other product managers
  • Experience running product teams (not just managing backlogs)
  • Finance domain fluency (month-end close, SOX, FP&A and Controllership interactions)
  • Executive communication and decision-quality materials for leadership
  • Proven ability to lead transformations and stabilize delivery during change
  • Experience using LLMs/AI as a product strategy and evaluation tool
  • Ownership of product strategy and execution across finance platforms and reporting ecosystems
  • Lead continuous discovery and drive evidence-based prioritization tied to business outcomes
  • Experience with hybrid onshore/offshore delivery models and maintaining continuity
  • Oracle Finance platform experience (Fusion, EPM, ARCS)
  • Anaplan or other enterprise planning platform experience
  • Coupa experience
  • Retail, CPG, or multi-brand enterprise background

  • Familiarity with SVPG or equivalent product operating models

What We Do

In 1969, Don and Doris Fisher opened the first Gap store on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco. They wanted to make it easier to find a great pair of jeans, and they did. Their denim and records store was a hit, and it grew to become one of the world’s most iconic brands. Today we’re represented in more than 1400 stores in over 40 countries, and online. We have headquarters in New York, London, Shanghai, Tokyo, and, of course, San Francisco. Our unique aesthetic is optimistic cool, elevated American style. Our clothes are crafted with care, with focused attention to thoughtful design. We believe in staying true to our heritage while creating what’s next. Don and Doris Fisher always wanted to “do more than sell clothes.” They wanted to support the people who ran their company, to be active in their communities, and to have a positive impact on the world. Their vision helped transform retail, and we’re still following their lead. We stand for freedom and possibility for all; we champion diverse ideas that transcend generations, geographies and genders.
