Strategy & Leadership
Craft a Unified Narrative: Develop a comprehensive, insight-driven communications strategy that informs, connects, and inspires employees—reinforcing culture as a catalyst for business success.
Amplify Executive Voices: Position leadership as credible, authentic, and inspiring through strategic messaging, speeches, and thought leadership opportunities.
Provide Strategic Counsel: Advise senior executives on communications that drive clarity, confidence, and alignment across the organization.
Lead with Impact: Manage a global team, fostering a culture of high performance, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Support for Key Business Functions
Lead and manage a team that delivers strategic communications support for key business functions—including HR, Corporate Communications, Strategy, Legal, Finance, Technology, Supply Chain, Regional Communications, and CEO Communications—while serving as the primary liaison for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members to ensure alignment, clarity, and impact across all initiatives.
Content, Events and Storytelling
Create breakthrough internal content strategies that elevate Gap Inc.’s narrative and showcase proof points of progress and innovation.
Oversee enterprise-wide engagement initiatives, including planning and executing global town halls and other leadership forums to drive alignment, transparency, and employee engagement.
Oversee development of speeches, presentations, FAQs, social content, and materials for internal and external speaking engagements.
Partner with Corporate Affairs to ensure internal messaging aligns with external communications for employees, media, shareholders, and customers.
Community & Collaboration
Establish and lead an Internal Communications Community of Practice to ensure cohesive messaging across corporate, brand, store, and international teams.
Share best practices and upskill teams to drive consistency and excellence globally.
Measurement & Innovation
Implement metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging channels to evolve internal and executive communications.
12+ years of progressive experience in internal, executive, or corporate communications within global, matrixed organizations.
Proven track record advising senior executives and leading high-performing teams.
Exceptional storyteller with strong written, verbal, and speechwriting skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive cultural and change initiatives.
Creative, innovative, and action-oriented, with a bias for execution.
Skilled at managing multiple projects and navigating complex environments.
Experience managing budgets and agency/vendor relationships.

In 1969, Don and Doris Fisher opened the first Gap store on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco. They wanted to make it easier to find a great pair of jeans, and they did. Their denim and records store was a hit, and it grew to become one of the world’s most iconic brands.
